“UV coatings” are hi-tech paints formulated with polymeric binders with unsaturated chemical bonds that polymerize through a radical chemical reaction begun by ultraviolet radiation at specified wavelengths capable to activate special photo-activators.

These polymers can guarantee short drying times (they are therefore ideal where high productivity is required) combined with extremely high eco-compatibility assumptions and exceptional chemical-physical performances that are hard to achieve with other paint systems.
