solid buffing pastes

POLISHING WITH A 4-6-8-12 ROLL POLISHING MACHINE

These complex multi-roll machines for polishing flat parts only (picture 5) are suitable for heavy duty uses and allow employers to use different types of paste at the same time.

These pastes, however, must be added in a logical order:
-the first rollers should have the more abrasive paste
-the last rollers the higher polishing paste.
Employers therefore need to pass gradually from the first to the penultimate roller from the abrasive to polishing paste: the last roll must be always free for degreasing the item before final polishing.

Each roller has a paste loader (picture 6) with mobile carriage which holds the sticks or bars of abrasive paste.

Optimum working temperature (produced by the pressure of the rollers on the surface to be polished) is between 25 °C and 40 °C (77 °F - 104 °F).

Recommended products for multi-roll polishing machines:

Polyester films must be final sanded with sandpaper 600: on first rollers it is recommended a very abrasive paste (hard grain) while on last rollers a paste with good polishing properties (medium-fine grain).
Polyurethane films must be final sanded with sandpaper 800: on first rollers it is recommended a fairly abrasive paste (medium hard grain) while on last rollers a very polishing paste (fine grain).
